I'm so excited! My first manual pentax lens came in the mail. Definitely what's super cool about Pentax-- access to 30 years' worth of lenses. I purchased a Pentax M 50mm f2 lens for $20. Not exactly the best out there in terms of bokeh and other things, but I figured it's a good cheap lens to introduce me to using old manual lenses on modern dslr's. This could be the start of something bad... I might end up being one of the pentax users that collect a ton of lenses!!! hehe. Now if only I didn't have school to worry about, I could practice taking some shots... aghhhh! :)
[UPDATE] I actually now have a manual 50mm f1.7 lens which is SOOOO much better than the f2 by leaps and bounds! Got it for $50 and now I wish I hadn't spent the $20 on the f2... but oh well, still not bad for the price :) Still getting the hang of manual focusing!
