Dana's photo session

So this past Saturday I had a fun/relaxed shoot with my high school friend John and his sister Dana. Thanks to them for being awesome 'models.' :) We just walked around downtown Ft. Walton, taking pictures as we went along.  I got some more edits done of Dana, and I'm still working on John's... they should be coming soon!  In the meantime, enjoy~ [Click on each pic to view in higher quality]

So, my sister was gracious enough to help me practice by sitting for a quick photo session out by a local park in Shalimar.  It was a beautiful day outside, not too hot like it has been these past few days in FL.  Here are some of the shots... My first post!

Hello blogosphere! Well, I've recently become the happy owner of Pentax K-R (with 2 kit lenses, a 18-55mm and 55-300mm), and have begun to have fun shooting different subjects.  I am so excited to pursue this hobby, but I know I have a long way and much to learn before I can actually call myself a "photographer."  In the meantime, you can refer to me as a happy "camera-owner." :)  I hope that through this blog you can see my growth and share in this photography experience with me!
